11.May 2007:

Today we got the first cria on our farm! It was a girl and we named her Siri. It happened outside in the afternoon with no drama. The mother (Kari) and the cria were taken indoor and after a few hours Siri started to eat. We expect the second Alpaca (Margrete) to give birth soon...

16.December 2006:

We got our first Alpacas today in the early morning. They are now finished with six month quarantine in Hornindal. In this period they have lived on Olav Reidar Haugen's farm. He imported the Alpacas from Chile.
